For the first four years after I graduated in applied physics from Twente University, I worked as a project engineer for an engineering firm. I´m now finding that the applied technology is much more up my street. At MAPPER we are making a machine that can do major things! There´s so much happening here in the field of integrated optics, for example. I think that´s really challenging. There aren´t many companies in the Netherlands that are working with technology at such a high level. At MAPPER you are soon given a great deal of responsibility. You collaborate with highly educated people who are very enthusiastic. Kindred spirits.
