Jan Lobbezoo
Jan Lobbezoo, chairman, retired in the beginning of 2007 from the Royal Philips Group after a successful 36 year international career in senior financial management positions involving working and living in different parts of the world. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Philips Semiconductors (now known as NXPSemiconductors) for 12 years until September 2005; thereafter until retirement he was Executive Vice President in Philips International.
Jan served until March this year over 12 years on the board of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), the world’s largest semiconductor foundry organisation. He continues to serve on the board of FEI Company, a nano-technology equipment company listed in the USA on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange. Jan is also chairman of the supervisory board of The Member Company {TMC}, a Dutch high
tech secondment services company which Jan helped with the initial public offering on the Amsterdam Alternext Stock Exchange. He is also a member of the supervisory board
of SMARTRAC n.v., a company quoted on the. Frankfurt Stockexchange. And a
member of the board of a few privately owned companies.
Arthur del Prado
Arthur del Prado has served as president and CEO of ASM International since he formed the company in The Netherlands in 1968. Earlier in 1984, he co-founded ASM Lithography N.V. through a joint venture with Philips Electronics N.V. In 1983, Arthur received the Bi-Annual President's Award from the Dutch Association of Corporate Board Members and Presidents (NCD). For many years, Arthur served as a director of JESSI, the Joint European Submicron Silicon Initiative and currently serves as a director of its successor MEDEA, the Micro Electronics Development for European Applications, a non-profit project. He has been appointed a member on the board of directors of various European companies and serves on the board of Dujat, the Netherlands-Japanese Trade Federation. Arthur is also a past board member of: Oce van der Grinten Nederland N.V., a manufacturer of copiers and printers; G.T.I. Holding N.V., an electronic equipment and installation company; Delft Instruments N.V., a manufacturer of high-technology industrial and defence products; and Breevast N.V., a project development and management company. He was also on the advisory council of ABN-AMRO Bank.
Paul Schröder
Paul Schroder currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Capital C Ventures. He previously was the CEO of Residex, one of the oldest venture capital firms in Holland. His leadership drives an investment strategy which focuses on Agritech, ICT and Life Sciences. Prior to Residex, in 1987 Paul co-founded Intercaptital Investments, InterCrown Investments BV, a venture capital and private equity firm. Under his management, with total assets of NLG 200 million in three funds, Paul initiated one of the first corporate venture capital programs in Holland, an ICT fund for KPN. Principal investors included Royal Dutch KPN and it's Unisource Partners (Swiss Com, Telia, et al). As one of the founding partners of Intercapital Investments, InterCrown Investments BV Paul was instrumental in establishing strong, well connected Non-Executive and Advisory Boards. Since 2001 Paul has served as Vice Chairman of the Dutch Venture Capital Association where he held the position of Chairman of the Board from 1999-2001. He also serves as a member of the Non-Executive Board of the following companies: P3 Technology Partners BV, Life Sciences Partners BV, Euroventures Holding BV, SNT Holding BV, Nedgraphics Holding BV, Kinetron BV, Pennsylvanian Partnership for Economic Education, Philadelphia (US).
