Simulation Engineer

 Job Description:

 As a simulation engineer you will:

1. Form a member of one of the MAPPER Lithography teams. These teams, composed of engineers and physicists, design, improve and test the various parts of the MAPPER litho tool;
2. Be making 2D and 3D simulations of electron optical lenses and components to predict their performance in the design phase;
3. Supporting experiments;
4. Be involved in simulations that will include ray tracing;
5. Monte Carlo simulations of electron scattering;
6. Calculate the required geometrical tolerances and specifications based on sensitivity analysis;
7. You will calculate the required geometrical tolerances and specifications based on sensitivity analysis;
8. Work closely with experimental physicists, designers and MEMS process development engineers.

Profile:

1. You have a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Applied Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline;
2. You have experience in numeric modeling. Experience with advanced analytical modeling is an advantage;
3. Knowledge in the field of electron optics is an advantage;
4. You have a pragmatic and innovative mindset;
5. Fluency in english is a requirement.

Software Engineer/Physicist

Job Description: 

1. You will realize applications (control, calibration, diagnostics) on top of HW (electronics, physics, processes).
2. Your primary task will be the design and implementation of a calibration sensor for tens of thousands of electron beams together with the related data post-processing SW. This includes Image Processing, optimization of the control SW and processing of large amounts of data.

Process Development Engineer Microfabrication

 Job Description:

1. You will be part of a team, which is responsible for the electron optical (EO) column, which is the heart of the demonstrator tool and consists of components and elements that are made by micro fabrication/MEMS processes.
2. Within this team, a small group of Process Development Engineers is responsible for the fabrication of components for the EO column.This is carried out at the Nanofacility of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience (formerly known as the DIMES Nanofacility) at the Delft University of Technology and other facilities, using a wide range of available micro fabrication processes.
3. In addition you will work on improving the existing process flows to improve quality and yield. You will develop new processes to enable the fabrication of the elements for the longer term and provide MAPPER's experimental setups with (MEMS) test components and samples for verification purposes.

Profile:

1. You have a B.Sc or M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics, Chemistry or a related discipline.
2. You have knowledge of micro fabrication processes. Key techniques are e-beam lithography and deep dry etching.
