Process Development Engineer

After my degree course at Twente University of Technology I took a PhD in the Systems and Materials for Information Storage (SMI) department. At MAPPER I´m working in a team of eight people. Each of us is looking at a different problem and it´s up to us how we find solutions. We brainstorm, study the literature and aim to keep abreast of the field´s rapid developments. By choosing this job at MAPPER Lithography, I´ve gained the opportunity to find suitable processes for manufacturing MEMS devices that the world has never seen before. I am able to work in uncharted territory and that is exactly why I studied physics in the first place. Young, enthusiastic engineers are working for MAPPER and there´s the same informal atmosphere as in my department at university.
