Software Engineer/Physicist

For the first four years after I graduated in applied physics from Twente University, I worked as a project engineer for an engineering firm. I'm now finding that the applied technology is much more up my street. At MAPPER we are making a machine that can do major things! There's so much happening here in different fields of physics, requiring design, implementation, and testing of software for example for controlling hardware or data analysis. I think that's really challenging. There aren't many companies in the Netherlands that are working with technology at such a high level. At MAPPER you are soon given a great deal of responsibility. You collaborate with highly educated people who are very enthusiastic.
